For over a decade, I’ve been creating bold and engaging design, animation,

and digital content as part of the creative team at GrandWest.

My journey into design wasn’t traditional, while working full-time, I completed

my Diploma in Multimedia Design through Intec College and continued building

my skills through Academy of Digital Arts and Red & Yellow.

From event branding and logo design to illustrations and animation,

I love creating work that feels bold, creative, and memorable.

Take a look through my portfolio and explore some of the creative projects

I’ve brought to life over the years.

Have a project in mind?

Let’s create something awesome together.

Night Club
Digital Flyers

Working closely with event promoters and venue managers, I create digital flyers that capture the energy and personality of each event. Every project begins with a creative brief, outlining the event theme, featured artists, venue details, and target audience.

From there, I develop a unique visual concept that reflects the mood of the event—whether it's an R&B night, a themed party, or a live entertainment experience.

Using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign, I carefully combine artist photography, typography, lighting effects, textures, and colour to create bold, attention-grabbing designs that stand out on social media.

Each flyer is designed to build excitement while maintaining a clear visual hierarchy, ensuring important information such as the event name, artists, date, venue, and ticket details are easy to read at a glance. The goal is to create promotional artwork that not only looks great but also encourages people to attend the event.

These designs have been used across social media platforms, digital advertising, and printed promotional material, helping event organisers build awareness and generate interest before every event.

Campaign

Mystery Car Mania is one of GrandWest Casino's exciting gaming promotions, giving MVG members the chance to win cash prizes and a brand-new vehicle through mystery bonus draws.

As the Multimedia Specialist, I am responsible for producing a wide range of promotional artwork that advertises the campaign across multiple marketing platforms. Every project begins with a detailed creative brief from the Gaming Promotions team. From there, I conceptualise and design the campaign visuals while ensuring they align with GrandWest's corporate identity, brand guidelines, and visual standards. Once the artwork has been reviewed and approved by the Marketing department, it is submitted to the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board for final approval before being released to the public.

The campaign includes a variety of promotional touchpoints, including digital posters displayed throughout the casino complex,

the Sun International website and mobile app, animated digital advertising, large-format billboards, and contravision vehicle branding, creating a consistent and engaging campaign across all customer-facing channels.

Casino Promotion Digital Posters

As part of my role at GrandWest, I work closely with the Gaming Promotions team to bring their campaign ideas to life. Each project begins with a creative brief outlining the promotion, target audience, key messaging, and campaign objectives.

From there, I develop the visual concept by selecting imagery, typography, colour palettes, and layouts that best communicate the promotion. Every design is created in line with the casino's brand and corporate identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing material while maintaining a strong and recognisable visual style.

Using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, I produce artwork for both print and digital advertising, balancing creativity with clear communication. These campaigns are displayed across posters, digital screens, social media, billboards, and other promotional platforms, making it essential that each design is visually engaging, on-brand, and effective at capturing the excitement of the promotion.

What would comedy be without a

little illustration? :)

I’ve had the opportunity to create a variety of artwork for local comedian Khanyiso Kenqa, including T-shirt designs, short comic strips, and digital promotional flyers, bringing humour and creativity together through visual storytelling.

Graphic Design Poster

As part of my Graphic Design course through

Red & Yellow, we were challenged to create

a rescue foundation awareness poster using typography only. The goal was to create a unique and impactful design with a strong

call-to-action.
